Segment-Subsidiary Controlling Services
Apart from core accounting activities, BCS has the potential to provide Segment Controlling Services to support the main holding companies of the BAUER Group’s operating segments — BMA, BRE and BST — in controlling and monitoring their subsidiaries across various countries. The services are designed to give segment management a consistent and reliable view of subsidiary performance, including revenue development, profitability, budget achievement, forecast accuracy, cash flow movement, working capital position, and key operational indicators.
Team can perform:
Support the holding companies in reviewing budgets and forecasts submitted by subsidiaries, comparing actual performance against targets, and analysing deviations by country, entity, and business area.
Analyse revenue development across subsidiaries and regions to help segment management assess market performance, business growth, and regional contribution within each segment.
Track segment-specific KPIs for subsidiaries, prepare dashboards and management summaries, and provide timely visibility on financial trends, operational risks, and performance deviations.
Provide analytical support to segment holding companies for reviewing subsidiary performance, including project-based performance for BRE, equipment sales and production analysis for BMA, and service/project performance for BST.
Monitor receivables, inventories, project cash flows, liquidity indicators, and working capital movements across subsidiaries to support financial control and cash flow planning at segment level.
Prepare consolidated segment-level summaries, commentary, and analytical inputs for management discussions, strategic reviews, and decision-making by the main segment holding companies.
Support special analysis, scenario reviews, benchmark comparisons, and business case evaluations for subsidiaries based on segment requirements and management priorities.
Maintain strict separation of resources, working files, reports, and sensitive data between the three operating segments — BMA, BRE and BST — ensuring that information relating to one segment or subsidiary is not exchanged, disclosed, or leaked to another segment or subsidiary without proper authorization.
Within the GDPR Compliance framework, maintain complete confidentiality of all financial, operational, and subsidiary-level information shared by the segment holding companies, ensuring that sensitive data is handled securely and used only for authorized reporting and controlling purposes.
